Antiox Biosens
Antiox Biosens

The Antiox Biosens device is an electrochemical Biosensor based on Screen-printed Electrodes (SPEs) detecting antioxidant capacity from a biological mediator.

Among the substances analyzed there can be especially food, juices and raw materials.

The antioxidant capacity is based on generating lipid peroxides in presence of peroxyl radicals.

The Antiox Biosens can work in static and in dynamic mode; the substrate is introduced by a peristaltic pump into 2 flow cells, fully independent, placed in parallel or in series with their fluidic connection, thus offering a double contemporary test.

All models are equipped with current measurement system and an electronic control board for data read-out, processing and PC transfer. Keyboard and display can be used to set-up the parameters.

The fluidic setup and cells are both made of inert materials to avoid adsorption of the sample (e.g. Derlin®, Teflon®, glass)

The instrument is equipped with its own software; self-upgrade by costumers is possible
